Completing Your KYC Verification

Before you can start distributing content and receiving payments through DIMBER, you'll need to complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process.

KYC helps us verify your identity, protect your account, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and ensure that royalties and payments are sent to the correct rights holder.

Note: KYC verification takes place outside your DIMBER distribution dashboard. Our support team will guide you through the process directly, so you won't need to find or manage it from within your account.

Before You Begin

Before starting your KYC verification, make sure you have:

  • Signed your DIMBER distribution agreement.
  • Accepted DIMBER's Terms of Use.
  • Access to a valid government-issued identification document.
  • Any additional information or documents requested during the verification process.

What Happens Next?

Once your KYC information has been submitted, the DIMBER team will review your submission.

If additional information is required, we'll contact you. You'll also be notified once your verification has been approved.

Important Notes

  • All information provided must be accurate and up to date.
  • The name on your identification documents should match the information in your DIMBER account and legal agreement.
  • Providing incorrect or incomplete information may delay the verification process.
  • Your account may have limited functionality until your KYC verification has been successfully completed.

Once verified, you're ready to set up your artist profile — see Setting Up Your Artist Profile for that next step.
